Are Dating Apps Good or Bad?
Can you imagine us in 20 years telling our children how we met their mother/father? Are you going to tell them the truth or pull out your creativity and “draw” a fairy tale? Probably a fairy tale, till they grow up and find the truth by themselves.
Interesting times we are living in, it is crazy to see how fast dating apps are developing and being accepted by almost everyone. Even the ones who were anti, they are becoming pro.
But now, my opinion about dating apps.
I like them!
Why?
As an Introvert allowed me to meet women that I would probably never meet in my life.
Allow people to objectify other human beings?
Absolutely! Turning into a world where a person will be the best next thing!
Are they super addictive and time-consuming?
If not managed properly can indulge in endless conversations!
Are they getting better?
Every day! Dating apps algorithm will narrow your choices, till they just “plant” in your face people that you already “love”!
Do I see that as a problem?
Absolutely, our freedom is over, an algorithm will choose the love of our life. We think we have a choice, but HEY, you don’t!
What can we do to prevent this?
Not much, other you go in the flow other you are lucky enough to not fall into this trap!
But you said you like it and now you saying all this bullshit?
True, doesn’t mean that I can’t like something that I consider bullshit!
I think open relationships will be more common until they are officialised as a status.
Divorces will not happen because nobody will get married.
Partners will be replaced like a piece of cloth.
I might be extremely wrong, wish I hope, but if the digital world doesn’t slow down this is our titanic.
Funny that the other day I found out, dating app consultant is already a job position. What does it mean? Someone will help me out find the love of my life through an application. Can’t wait to see what these “Doctor Hitch” of dating apps have to say!
But on a serious note, I hope dating apps turn to be soooo good, that nobody will fall into a catfish again! That would be great, don’t wish that to anybody!
